LANGDON, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol says a minivan collision with a vehicle that had been loading grain in Cavalier County has killed the minivan driver.

The name of the 76-year-old Langdon woman was not immediately released.

The patrol said the other driver, 45-year-old Steve Ratzlaff of Wales, was cited for failure to yield. He was not hurt.

Authorities said the minivan collided with Ratzlaff's vehicle shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday, about 14 miles west of Langdon on state Highway 5. The patrol said Ratzlaff did not see the minivan and his vehicle crossed into its path while entering the highway.

The woman was pronounced dead at the Cavalier County hospital.
