No more flu shots for walk-ins

(WDAY TV) - High demand for the seasonal flu shot is putting the 7-Day Clinic in bind. The clinic is working with area schools to provide the shot, but the supply is starting to run out.

From now on, no more shots can be given to walk-in patients. There are less than 1-thousand doses of the vaccine left. Parents are now being asked to call ahead and make an appointment, that way they can be guaranteed a spot.

The 7-Day Clinic is still taking pre-registrations until the entire supply of the vaccine runs out.

“We're on waiting lists for more vaccinations, but we've been told by all of them there is no more vaccine to be had. If that changes, we're going to attempt to get more.”

At the rate the calls are coming in, Williams says the supply the clinic has will be gone in three days.
