PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — Police in Pierre say they have received a second report of a prank call in which the caller tries to trick a restaurant manager into triggering the building's fire suppression system.

Authorities say employees at the McDonald's restaurant did not fall prey to the scam on Friday.
A day earlier, the fire suppression system at a KFC franchise was activated and employees were exposed to chemically treated water. The caller claimed to be from the corporate office and told the manager that the fire suppression system had gone offline and should be reset.
Officials say similar incidents have been reported in other states.
