Hundreds of volunteers give back to the community

(WDAY TV) - It was a day to give back to the Fargo-Moorhead community. Hundreds of people volunteered for the annual don't go to church, be the church event.
Church members from Prairie Heights Community helped with work projects, sewing blankets, or here at the Special Olympics bowling tournament. 150 bowlers took part. About 80 volunteers are needed to run a smooth tournament.
"I have a person from the church whose taken on getting all of the volunteers he gets it all lined up. I just show up that morning and it's all taken care of."
To make it easier on volunteers, the church offered childcare.
