Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A tragic story hit home for Oak Grove students today, it's a life-saving message from an internationally known speaker. Cara Filler watched her identical twin sister die in a speed-related crash, a day after their 18th birthday.
She was in a car behind the one her sister was riding in. She has taken her story of making good choices, sticking your neck out for friends and avoiding risks, to more than a million students.
“What I hope to achieve at Oak Grove and other schools I've been to, is to have them think about the choices they make everyday and how important it is to stick their neck out for their friends. If I'd stuck my neck out, my sister wouldn't be dead.”
