No plea deal made with bus driver charged with vehicular homicide

(WDAY TV) - Attorneys failed to reach a plea deal for a Moorhead bus driver charged with vehicular homicide in a fatal crash that killed a Pelican Rapids teen.
70-year-old Loren Ernst was behind the wheel when the charter bus crashed on Interstate-94 near Albertville, Minnesota in April of 2008.
16-year-old Jessica Weishair died in the crash. Attorneys have been trying to reach a plea agreement for Ernst, but negotiations fell apart.
His trial is now set for January 4th in Wright County, Minnesota.
