Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - There may be fewer people on golf courses right now, but some Fargo elementary students are ready to hit the greens with new clubs!
200 kids put their name in the drawing for the clubs and today, Dakota Medical Foundation gave away 10 sets of 100 dollar clubs to students at Lewis and Clark elementary school.
The clubs were given by the USGA. Students also got some golf balls that were used by professionals on tour.
"My grandma and grandpa golf and I golf at their yard. And it's just fun to do."
"Free sets of clubs that have never been hit, they are brand new. We're just taking them out of the box today. And then they can go and play for free at Osgood, El Zagal and Prairiewood."
They kids can also use the driving range at Osgood.
