Force look to improve on great expansion year

Fargo, ND (WDAY Sports) - Before you know it the puck will drop on the second season of the Fargo Force. What can this team do for an encore? In its expansion year, the Force swept thru two rounds of the playoffs and made the championship round!

Now Steve Johnson inherits this team with twelve players back and is hoping they didn't forget that winning feeling.

“We hope that the guys have the same expectations, our only goal early on is making sure we get better each week, and put ourselves in a spot at the end to play some very important games.”

“Everyone has high expectations for us, and I think the guys have higher expectations, we're not OK with finishing 2nd. Everyone still has that in the back of their mind.”

The Force opens the season at home against Lincoln Friday night.
