Own goal puts Cobbers ahead of Bethel

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY Sports) - An absolutely perfect day for soccer today as the 18th ranked and unbeaten Cobbers hosted Bethel. First half, the Cobbers get a little lucky.

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY Sports) - An absolutely perfect day for soccer today as the 18th ranked and unbeaten Cobbers hosted Bethel. First half, the Cobbers get a little lucky.

Sam Johnson on the doorstep and it's knocked in by the Bethel defender, didn't look like it was going to go in, either, 1-0 Concordia.

Seconds left in the half, Cobber keeper Ali Nelson comes up with a couple of great saves. She makes the first one, pops up to make a 2nd save, Bethel's 3rd shot goes wide, and Concordia led 1-0 at the half.

And that was the final; Cobbers are now 9-0 on the season, they host St. Mary's on Saturday.
