Barnesville hires new City Administrator after 10-month search

Barnesville, Minn. (WDAY TV) - After several months of searching, the city of Barnesville finally has a new City Administrator. Michael Reitz from Castle Hill, Texas accepted the position on Monday.
Reitz will start on October 19th and earn between $70 and $80-thousand dollars. It ends a 10-month search for the position which included three rounds of interviews and some candidates turning down the position.
This time around, the city council interviewed 5 candidates.
