Sabin Man Tied to Chair, Allegedly Held at Gunpoint

Fargo, ND (WDAY-TV) -- Clay County authorities are investigating an incident in Sabin, Minnesota, where a homeowner says he was tied up outside his house. The sheriff’s office says two people confronted the man and tied him up to a chair, before going into the home. The man says he was held at gunpoint and the suspects also had knives with them.

Fargo, ND (WDAY-TV) -- Clay County authorities are investigating an incident in Sabin, Minnesota, where a homeowner says he was tied up in a chair outside his house.

The sheriff’s office says two people confronted the man and tied him up to a chair, before going into the home.

The man says he was held at gunpoint and the suspects also had knives with them.

It happened at home on 80th Street South in rural Sabin.

Deputies were called to the home at about 9:00 last night.

The man says he was tied up about 2:00 yesterday afternoon, and the suspects were scared off by a passing vehicle.

Clay County officials say it’s not believed to be a random act and the case is still under investigation.
