Golfers get out and enjoy great September

(WDAY Sports) - This unseasonably warm September has golfers smiling from ear to ear. After not being to start playing until June and then a cold summer, local courses were packed this weekend as golfers from all over the valley were using their clubs one last time.

“We can only expect three months in a season to golf, typically count on the rain and the snow, it's just the way it is.”

“It’s been great to get out here today, enjoy the great weather, whether I could find someone to come out here today or not, I was coming out today.”

On the nationwide tour, Fargo’s David Schultz finished 54th at the Boise open, he makes about 24 hundred bucks, still 21st on the money list with 5 events to go.
