Bison Get Into Win Column, 59-28 over Wagner

North Dakota State was badly in need of a win Saturday night. They got the win and more whipping Wagner College of New York, 59-28. The Bison were paced by Pat Paschall's 167 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the win. NDSU will open Missouri Valley conference play on the road next week against Southern Illinois.

North Dakota State was badly in need of a win Saturday night. They got the win and more whipping Wagner College of New York, 59-28. The Bison were paced by Pat Paschall's 167 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the win. NDSU will open Missouri Valley conference play on the road next week against Southern Illinois. The Bison racked up 531 total yards in the rout of the Seahawks, 91 of those came on a spectacular Paschall run in the 2nd quarter, the longest TD play in NDSU history, breaking a record set in 1928! Nick Mertens was effecient, completing 12 of 21 passes for 182 yards

and a touchdown, he also ran for two scores. The Bison will square off with former Sioux coach Dale Lennon and Southern Illinois next Saturday, the Bison won a squeaker here in Fargo last year, 35-27 after trailing 20-7 at halftime.
