Raiders looking to repeat last year's performance

(WDAY Sports) - The Lake Park Audubon football team made the state tournament for the first time ever last season and the raiders liked it so much they're planning an encore performance.

LP-A returns 17 guys who saw playing time last season when the raiders made it to the class A semifinals and even though they lost the opener to Barnesville, hopes are high for a return trip to the Metrodome.

“I think we can we have some things to grow through but we have a season to do that and we've set our goals super high a state championship and I think they can attain that.”

“As coach says we've set our goals high to win state and we have experience and know what to do so it should help a lot this year.”

The Raiders host Badger Greenbush on Friday.
