Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A flood-prone Fargo golf course is getting a nearly half-million dollar renovation. The Fargo Park Board unanimously approved a proposal to renovate three holes at Edgewood golf course.
Holes 2, 3 and 4 on the southwest corner of the course will have tee boxes and greens raised to a river level of at least 28 feet. Water begins to trickle into that section of the course at about 21 feet.
The hope is to begin the 24-month project this fall. Play will not be interrupted during construction.
