(WDAY Sports) - Today NFL teams could add players to their practice squads for the upcoming season. Former Bison Nick Schommer, who was cut yesterday by the Titans, was signed to their squad.
While Kole Heckendorf was not signed by the Packers, NDSU's all time leader in receptions was hoping to catch on with his favorite team, but says the whole experience has been a wild ride.
“I had a good two months, OTA's went real well, fall camp went real well. Left everything out on the field I could, it’s been a great time, learned the offense really well, guys took me in, there are a lot of guys that left before me.”
Heckendorf is now available to sign with any team.
