Our week two edition is definitely dressed up with great plays. We begin with our catches of the week. How about west Fargo’s Austin Nelson, the great leaping grab against Century.

That was with two hands, these next are with only one. Pelican Rapids Dan Ditch makes this gem. NDSU's Thor Brown also hauls this one in without the aid of his left hand.

Run of the week goes to Moorhead’s Matt Duginski, who runs over and thru the Fergus Falls defense en route to the end zone. Hit of the week was against the Bison; Iowa State's James Smith puts his helmet right on the chin of Matt Veldman, ouch! Veldman was okay.

Some of the top performances of the week include Shanley QB Myles Montplaisir, who had 235 total yards and 2 touchdowns in the Deacons stadium opening win over D-L. Perham quarterback Ben Bucholz had 197 yards passing and 3 TD's in the Jackets’ win over Pelican Rapids. His receiver, Cody Soderstrom, caught two of those scores and had 111 yards receiving.

Wahpeton's Ryan Smith carried 22 times for 229 yards and 3 scores in the Huskies win over Breckenridge and Concordia senior Zach Debeltz had a day in the Cobbers win over 8th ranked Willamette. Debeltz had two interceptions and had this fabulous punt return for a touchdown, as pretty a run as you'll see.
