Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU students will now be ready when severe weather hits the area.
The school got a 412-thousand dollar grant to help install 400 weather radios throughout the campus.
The radios broadcast 24-hour weather forecasts and bulletins and can be set to a 90 decibel siren, flashing light, or voice mode. School officials say the radios work better than email and cell phones at night and on weekends.
