MADDOCK, N.D. (AP) — Neighbors have come to the rescue again, bringing in the wheat crop of a farmer near Maddock who died only days before he was to be married.

Fifty-six-year-old Lee Paulson died July 15 of an aortic aneurysm, three days before he was to marry Robyn Alsaker.

She says Paulson's neighbors arrived Saturday with combines, semitrailers, grain carts and other vehicles to help bring in wheat from more than 220 acres on the family farm.

Alsaker says her fiance would have been out helping a neighbor, if things were different.

She says the neighbors have helped with other fields, too, and there are still fields of soybeans and sunflowers to work.
