Man killed after car crashes into his riding lawnmower is identified

Vining, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Ottertail county authorities have identified the victim of a fatal car-lawnmower accident in Otter Tail County.
They say 78-year old Wayne Ggunderson of Vining was turning around in the middle of highway 40 while mowing his ditch when he was hit from behind by a car. It happened about 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say the 38 year old Underwood woman apparently didn't see Gunderson as she approached a slight crest in the road. Gunderson died on the way to the hospital.
