Barnesville, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A Minnesota couple both laid off in the last year are refusing to become couch potatoes, instead they're at Potato Days. They're trying to make ends meet with a unique idea proven to spice up people's lives. Our story tonight from WDAY 6 Reporter, Kelsey Soby.

Ah the taste of success, a little something matt and Marie Ramczyk mixed up using homemade spices and a lot of determination. After both losing their jobs, this idea for retirement, making unique gourmet dip kits became their way to make a living.

“These aren't just dips, they're darn good dips, but they aren't just dips.”

These gourmet dips fit right in at Potato Days. They say the Chile dip tastes really good on potatoes and they're right! These homemade combos didn't come to them overnight.

“A little more a little less.”

But through trial and error and by believing that even when times get tough, you can find new ways to spice up your life. The Ramczyk's travel with their spices all around Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas, The dip kits are now sold in a few stores and available at groumetdipkits.com.
