Big shoes to fill for Bison safety

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Imagine how tough it has to be to follow an NFL draft pick. Just ask Tyler Henry how hard it was, replacing Joe Mays at linebacker.

Now enter sophomore Daniel eaves, who has to replace Titans draft pick Nick Schommer at free safety for the Bison.

The sophomore from Chicago put together a solid spring and fall camp and is another new piece to NDSU's secondary..

“I just know it's going to be a challenge but at the same time it's going to be a great opportunity, to get in with those guys, I got great guys around me, they know what they're doing, they have helped me thru it and helped me thru this fall camp, coaches have prepared us throughout fall camp and we're ready for just about anything.”
