Semi driver killed in crash near Steele
STEELE, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol says a semi struck a car that turned in front of it near Steele, sending the semi into a ditch where it overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the 59-year-old Bismarck man was not immediately released.
The patrol said the crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. Friday on state Highway 3, about three miles north of Steele.
Authorities said the car collided with the semi and then struck a pickup behind the car.
The name of the car's driver, a 16-year-old Steele girl, was not immediately released. The patrol said she and the pickup driver, 72-year-old Harold Erickson Jr., of Carrington, were taken to a Bismarck hospital.
