Fargo's Donny Schatz is heading to Edmonton today for the only Canadian races of the World of Outlaws season, but he doesn't mind looking back at last weekend.
(WDAY Sports) - Fargo's Donny Schatz is heading to Edmonton today for the only Canadian races of the World of Outlaws season, but he doesn't mind looking back at last weekend.
Saturday night in Mandan he became just the fifth driver to win 100 main events. To get that milestone in the home state still has him jacked up.
“I was just a dreamer kid who wanted to win one and when I won 10 I thought I was on top of the world. It's huge for me, huge for North Dakota and there are not many guys who have hit that 100 bracket and I’m just glad to be part of that.”
Schatz has a 100 point lead in the season standings.
