Kansas City vs. RedHawks

Fargo, ND (WDAY Sports) - The Fargo Moorhead RedHawks are not exactly getting hot heading into the playoffs. The Hawks lost to Kansas City yesterday, making it five losses in six games.

It was 3-0 Hawks in the 5th today when they hit back to back jacks. Nic Jackson launches a 2-run shot, his 17th.

The very next batter was the red hot Jeremiah Piepkorn and he absolutely crushes one. His 4th homer in 4 games, 19th overall, RedHawks built a 6-0 lead, they also led 7-1.

But it was all downhill from there. 3 errors proved costly and contributed to a big KC rally. This double by Craig Hurba, despite a nice hawks relay, put the T-bones up 8-7 in the 8th inning.

They go on to a 9-7 victory. So six days after taking over 1st place with 10 straight wins, the hawks have lost 5 of 6.
