(WDAY Sports) - Two teams were looking to improve in 2009, as Oakes hosted Kindred tonight.
(WDAY Sports) - Two teams were looking to improve in 2009, as Oakes hosted Kindred tonight. The home team gets off to a great start, 2nd drive of the game, Tanner Zeticka takes the handoff. He goes 21 yards to the painted grass, 6-0 Tornadoes.
Later in the first, Oakes strikes again. Taylor Ptacek rolls out and hits Adam Ladwig. The first of two touchdowns on the night for him, 12-0 Oakes.
Move to the 2nd quarter, Kindred's defense shows up, forcing the fumble on Zeticka. The Vikings recover, about the only bright spot tonight; Oakes pitches the shutout, 20-0.
