ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Visitors at the Minnesota State Fair can play food sleuth with a visit to the Minnesota Agriculture Department's booth.
Visitors can play food investigator Trace Back, who's trying to figure out which food at a mock deli is tainted with salmonella and is making people sick.
Back follows the clues to see how the food was stored and prepared, how clean employees keep the deli, and how clean they keep themselves.
The department's inspection division director, Dr. Heidi Kassenborg, says the booth simulates what the Agriculture Department's inspectors do in real life.
The booth is in the Agriculture/Horticulture Building. The fair starts Thursday.
