Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - M-State is boasting a good problem, it's packed.

Early numbers show 31-hundred students are enrolled at what many know as MSCTC, Moorhead. That's similar to last year, but considered higher because the popular Dental Assistant program didn't accept any new students this year.

The crowds are a sign more people are heading back to school. The school's provost says m-state size has doubled over the last five years, in part because of the transition from a tech school into a liberal arts and tech school, a few years ago, and, because of new flexible night and online courses.

“Because of our classroom crunch, we do our very best to get maximum efficiency in our classes, so our classrooms are full.”

Migler says M-State is high on the Minnesota state bonding bill, meaning it may soon get money from the school for improvements and expansion.
