Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Blue Angels didn't disappoint. For the second time, the team wowed crowds with its popular air show!

The six F-18 Hornets took to the sky. Cameras and all eyes were on the planes for the 20 minute shows. Many people came from hours away and say the Angels are in a league of their own. Aviation fans say they wish the show came to Fargo every year.

"I'd like to see that, I'm an aircraft buff, always have been, the blue angels are my favorite. So I'd be here every time they were here."

The Air Sho is shaping up as one for the record books. Thousands of people packed the airfield, the best turnout in a long time.

Good weather, great performers, and a lot of advertising are credited for the turnout. An estimated 20-thousand people showed up Saturday and 15-thousand more today. Organizers are calling the show a hit.

"Everything we've heard so far, it's been so much positive information. Everybody seems really happy. It's just fun to see everybody with their eyes up in the sky looking at everything going on. It's just been a great weekend for an air show."

Staff are already working on the 2011 show. They say it'd be nice to have every year, but don't think the angels would come that often.
