3rd time the charm for West Fargo Babe Ruth team?

West Fargo, ND (WDAY Sports) - The West fargo 15-year Babe Ruth baseball team will compete in its 3rd consecutive Babe Ruth World Series beginning tomorrow in Seattle. To make it there 3 years in a row is downright amazing. And this year, the guys say they're ready to make a run at winning the whole thing.

“After the first two times I think it's time to make a real serious run at the championship we've come through a lot of tough times but we've battled through them and we just stayed the course.”

“I think we take a lot of pride in that the guys early on learned that they could play well at state and could compete at the region and they have taken advantage of it they've been in the top two four times now and getting a chance to go to another world series is pretty special.”

West Fargo faces Longview, Washington in its opening game tomorrow at 9:30.
