Mystery at Minnesota lake attracts UFO investigators

(WDAY TV) - The mystery over what's sitting at the bottom of sylvan lake has the attention of UFO investigators. A Forest Lake, Minnesota woman says she saw something strange in the water, police and fire got involved.

The woman says she saw large waves rippling out in a swirling motion. She thought the churning water came from a helicopter. Police took this pontoon; an airboat and sonar out on the lake and searched 26-feet down.

After second water search, the sheriff's office found an object, about the size of a washer or dryer. They plan to pull it out in the coming weeks, though no one could say, what it might be.

“There was quite a stir for 5-7 minutes, with waves that went out 30-40 feet, not up but out.”

The UFO investigator did say he doesn't believe it's a UFO, but until the object comes out of the water, the mystery continues.
