(WDAY Sports) - Well even if Steve is on vacation, Further Review is not and thanks to popular demand, Trevor Peterson and I are back for another go around of what's happening in the world of sports that's tonight on further review. So we're back on Further Review, can't imagine why.
So Brett Favre and Brad Childress got their way. He's with the Vikes now, but as a Jets fan, I’ll just say this, be careful what you wish for Viking fans, you may just get it. He was sensational the first 11 games last year, but then his body caught up with him. I'm just warning you now.
That may be, but you can't dispute he's an upgrade over sage and Tarvaris. I'm not saying Super Bowl like many other Viking fans, but there's no question Minnesota now becomes one of the most interesting teams to watch this year. Speaking of, can we stop watching the Twins yet?
“Are you kidding me?”
Well their starting pitchers have been awful, but as long as Joe Mauer is playing for the Twins, I'll always watch. Now that he's added a power stroke to his already impressive resume, Mauer is the best player in the American League, maybe the game.
Have you heard about the big upcoming pay-per-view fight?
No, which one is that?
Me vs Doug Simunic, he's obviously got a dangerous overhand right, so I think I’ll try some verbal warfare.
By the way, how does everyone feel about NDSU charging five dollars for parking at the Legion World Series, when they only charge 2 dollars at RedHawks games?
“That’s preposterous.”
That’s what I thought.
