(WDAY TV) - People were 'flocking' to the race track near Minneapolis, pun intended
It was a day of extreme racing at Canterbury Park. Rail birds is a horse track term for people who like to hang out by the fence at the finish line, but it took on a new meaning Sunday with ostriches on the track.
Two jockeys were thrown coming out of the gate. A third was thrown part way down the track as the winner floated across the finish line.
