DONNYBROOK, N.D. (AP) — The Highway Patrol has identified the two people killed in a crash on U.S. Highway 52 in northwest North Dakota on Friday.
The Patrol said Saturday that 18-year-old Serrina Schnabel of Velva, N.D., and 23-year-old Hillary Meier Hunt of Warner Robins, Ga., both died in the head-on collision.
Authorities say the Georgia woman pulled out to pass a semitrailer on the two-lane highway and collided with the oncoming Mazda driven by Schnabel about 8:15 a.m. Friday.
