(WDAY TV) - North Dakota's US Attorney now has a date set to step down from office. Drew Wrigley says he will officially be finished September 11th.

Wrigley says he will step down that day in hopes that the death penalty appeals case of Alfonoso Rodriguez will be decided by then. Rodriguez was convicted in the murder and abduction of Dru Sjodin, a case Wrigley tried in court. So far, no replacement has been named by the Obama Administration.

North Dakota’s Congressional Delegation has forwarded several names including Jasper Schneider and Janice Morley, both of Fargo. Wrigley will be the Vice President at Noridian Administrative Services after leaving the federal courthouse.
