(WDAY Sports) - Ben Woodside saw his first NBA summer league action as a member of the Timberwolves. The Wolves faced a select team from the NBA D-league yesterday.
Woodside played 8 and a half minutes and tried to do the things we're used to seeing, distributing to teammates; he had one assist, no turnovers and one steal.
Woodside also got into the scorebook. This free throw was his only point, however.
He should've gotten credit for a field goal on this floater, it was goal tended, but no call.
All in all the experience was a memorable one for the former Bison, and something he definitely enjoyed.
“You know I’ll get my time and that's what I’m looking forward to, just getting some minutes and coming there and trying to perform. I'm just glad to be here and be part of this. It's a great opportunity for me and you know I’m enjoying it.”
Woodside and the Wolves play again Friday in Las Vegas.
