West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's something many of us have never seen before, animals being born, but now you have that chance at the Red River Valley Fair.

A birthing center is filled with eggs from pheasant, chickens, and other birds. Each afternoon eggs in an incubator will hatch for visitors to see.

The birds are then put into other cages for people to see how they grow soon after birth. Organizers say it's a great way for people to learn about agriculture; the fair starts tomorrow.

“We’ve got a couple hundred eggs in my office in an incubator so every day we'll bring out a new set of eggs and by mid-afternoon we'll actually have all the chicks being born in here.”

This is the second year of the birthing center. Last year a cow and sheep were supposed to give birth, but they didn't. This year visitors can watch videos of those animals delivering babies.
