We have an update on our breaking story. We reported that a 7-year-old boy, Bobby, was missing.

Grand Forks police were in the area of the 400 block of Chestnut Street. He was missing for approximately one hour. He left for a friends house, but never made it to his destination.

According to police, as our story was airing, a woman saw the news report, looked out her window and saw a boy matching his description.

Police sat Bobby has now been located, thanks to that woman watching the newscast and calling 911.

Lolita Amick, Bobby's mother said, "I mean, we're not from this area so, I'm from a larger area, where if your child disappears, you don't, typically you don't find him, I mean, so I was just very concerned, immediate panic, immediate panic."

Police say it serves as a good reminder how important it is that the public helps when a child goes missing.
