Volleyball all-stars prepare for match

West Fargo, ND (WDAY Sports) - A different bunch of gym rats got a good sweat going today at West Fargo High School.

Practice is underway for the North Dakota Optimist All Star Volleyball Showcase.

They'll play tomorrow in West Fargo and Wednesday in Bismarck. The ladies say it’s kind of fun to team up with some of the girls that you used to want to wipe off the floor and pretty cool just to be chosen.

“There are only 23-24 girls in the state that get the opportunity it's quite the honor.”

“It's cool you know because I played obviously against the three West Fargo girls and then the girls from Red River and stuff like that so its fun to actually play with them instead of against them.”

The teams split the two games last year.
