Minot Ryan edges Central Cass for B title
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — Minot Ryan scored four runs in the sixth inning to edge Central Cass 4-3 and capture its third straight North Dakota Class B baseball championship. Coach Bryan Kramer said that after graduating nine players from last year's team, this year's title was the most satisfying. He said, "I don't know if I've ever been more proud because of how much we improved and how we kept scratching and clawing, and that's kind of how we won the thing."
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — Minot Ryan scored four runs in the sixth inning to edge Central Cass 4-3 and capture its third straight North Dakota Class B baseball championship.

Ryan started the bottom of the sixth inning trailing 3-0. Singles by Adam Burckhard, Ben Kramer, Ben Magnuson and starting pitcher Kyle Petz led the Ryan comeback. Petz gave up just two earned runs in 6 1/3 innings and walked none.
