Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A Moorhead man's invention is helping save the earth through an unlikely way, advertising.

Inventor Kyle Nyberg says many businesses don't recycle because it costs money. So he designed a way to pay for that, putting advertisements above recycle bins called "Eco-ads"

The ad revenue pays for the free recycling service that will pick up and drop off the recyclables.

The idea came from advertisements at black jack tables in Vegas.

The businesses that put this eco-advertising in their building gets 10 percent of the ad revenue.
