Canadian school learns more about alternative center

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A school in Nova Scotia, Canada is studying West Fargo’s alternative center in hopes of doing something like it.
Carla Gregory spent the day with students in West Fargo Senior High's alternative center or SHAC.
There 16 students who are at risk of dropping out spend part of the day in this room and volunteering in the community.
West Fargo leaders talked about this new program at a conference in San Antonio and Gregory decided she needed to see it in action.
