Bill signed to move forward on flood protection

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A sign of moving forward on permanent flood solutions in the Fargo, Cass County area, Governor John Hoeven signed a bill today to appropriate 310-million dollars to the State Water Commission for vital water projects and infrastructure statewide.
Included in the bill is a commitment of 75-million to help fund permanent flood protection. Fargo city leaders say the funding for Fargo’s southisde flood control project is an important step toward bringing permanent flood control throughout the Red River Valley.
