3 Charged in Grand Forks Vehicle Thefts

(WDAZ-TV) - Two Grand Forks residents and a Crookston man are charged with stealing two cars from a Grand Forks construction site in May and driving them to Crookston, where one of the vehicles was set on fire.

(WDAZ-TV) - Two Grand Forks residents and a Crookston man are charged with stealing two cars from a Grand Forks construction site in May and driving them to Crookston, where one of the vehicles was set on fire.

Jacob Ryan Henry, 21, of Grand Forks, is charged with one count of theft and one count of conspiracy to commit theft.

Bobbie Lee Shimpa, 19, also of Grand Forks, faces two counts of conspiracy to commit theft.

Nicholas Allen Johnson, 19, of Crookston, faces one count of conspiracy to commit theft.

Both charges are Class C felonies, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

All three are being charged in Grand Forks County District Court.
