NEAR LARIMORE, ND (WDAZ-TV) - There were no injuries reported after a school bus carrying nine Larimore students was hit by a pickup on Highway 2 just west of Larimore.

The collision happened at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday at 39th St. NE and Highway 2, about two miles west of Larimore. A 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Alex Shaw, 21, of Fort Totten was heading west on Highway 2 when the school bus, driven by Kenneth Brunk, 70 of Larimore was crossing the highway heading north.

The pickup struck the right side of the school bus, resulting in rear and right body panel damage. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Brunk was cited for failure to yield.

Shaw, the driver of the pickup, had a suspended license, the patrol reports.

Brunk and all nine kids in the bus were uninjured. Alex Shaw, Alison Shaw, 30, and a 2-year-old baby in the pickup were also uninjured. They were all wearing seat belts or safety restraints.
