EAST GRAND FORKS, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Locked-out American Crystal workers held a "Back to Work" rally Wednesday to show the company that they're ready to start working again.

They showed up at 7:30 a.m. dressed in work clothes and stayed outside all day.

This is their second such rally.

Last month more than 80 workers stood outside for hours in a windchill of -15.

Locked-out workers say they want to show that they haven't given up on the company and they hope it hasn't given up on them.

"We want to show the company that we're as strong as we have been out here. We were willing to work under the old contract if they would have extended that, and that would have had a no-strike provision in that contract," union worker Scott Ripplinger said.

About 40 workers were outside at 7:30 a.m.
