CROOKSTON, MN (WDAZ-TV) - A Grand Forks man accused of breaking into Riverview Clinic in East Grand Forks and stealing drugs pleaded not guilty on Monday.
Alexander Rodriguez, 22, faces a felony charge and has a jury trial scheduled for April 24. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
East Grand Forks police say it appeared Rodriguez threw a rock through a clinic door on January 20 at about 11:40 p.m. and loaded up garbage bags with drugs.
He was arrested just 2½ hours after the burglary was reported. Police found one set of footprints in and out of the clinic that matched Rodriguez's Nike shoes.
