6 Teens Injured in Pickup Rollover East of Devils Lake

NEAR DEVILS LAKE (WDAZ-TV) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says six teenagers were injured in a one-vehicle rollover east of Devils Lake Monday night.

NEAR DEVILS LAKE (WDAZ-TV) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says six teenagers were injured in a one-vehicle rollover east of Devils Lake Monday night.

The crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on a gravel road two miles east of Devils Lake.

A 14-year-old male was driving a 2008 Dodge pickup east when he lost control and started to fishtail. The pickup went into the north ditch and rolled, coming to rest on the passenger side.

Also in the vehicle were three 15-year-old males, one 16-year-old male and one 14-year-old female.

All of the teens in the vehicle are from Devils Lake. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.

They were all taken to Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake. One had to be transferred to a Fargo hospital.

Their names and conditions haven't been released.

Charges are under investigation for the driver, according to an accident report. The pickup was totaled.

Road conditions were clear at the time of the crash, which is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
