2 Men Injured in Semi-Truck Collision South of Bagley, MN

SOUTH OF BAGLEY, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Two men were injured in an accident between a pickup and a semi south of Bagley early Thursday morning.

SOUTH OF BAGLEY, MN (WDAZ-TV) - Two men were injured in an accident between a pickup and a semi south of Bagley early Thursday morning.

The State Patrol says Nicholas Smith, 22, of Bagley and Brandon Nattrass, 20, of Shevlin, MN, were transported to Sanford Health in Bemidji and later airlifted to Sanford in Fargo.

Smith and Nattrass were in the 1987 Ford Ranger traveling east on Clearwater County Highway 27 when the driver failed to yield and collided with the trailer of a 2005 International semi that was southbound on state Highway 92 at 3:18 a.m.

It's unknown who was driving the pickup and if the two men were wearing seat belts. There condition wasn't available as of 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

The driver of the semi, Jeffri Pearson, 54, of Salol, MN, was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Clearwater County Sheriff's Department, Bagley Fire and EMS and the White Earth Police Department.
