High-risk Sex Offender Living in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Police are notifying the public of a high-risk or level three sex offender living in Grand Forks.

GRAND FORKS (WDAZ-TV) - Police are notifying the public of a high-risk or level three sex offender living in Grand Forks.

Police say Wesley Owen Gee, 28, recently moved to 321 N. 4th St.

He was convicted of corruption of a minor in 2006. When he was 22, he met a 15-year-old girl on the internet and traveled to North Dakota to meet her.

Gee was caught while having sex with the girl and lied about his name and age.

As of October, 2011 there are 90 such offenders registered with the Grand Forks Police Department that either live, work or attend school within the City of Grand Forks. Of these 90, there are 8 currently assigned a risk level of HIGH. The rest are classified as MODERATE or LOW risk, or have not been assigned a risk level.
